Ireland has already given several treasures to the world. Like whiskey, the Guinness beer or happy folk songs. But Ireland has another present to the world: the Boyzone band.
Maybe it isn’t familiar everyone for the first time, but this band is very famous in whole Ireland and Great Britain. A real boy band from the 90s! The band formed in 1993 with the members Keith Duffy, Stephen Gately, Mikey Graham, Ronan Keating and Shane Lynch. They wrote several number one tracks, and those songs reached nice places on top lists in Ireland and the Great Britain too. However they said good bye in 2000, the break lasted only until 2008. Since the reunion they make music together for the fans’ big happiness.
We don’t have to be a mathematic genius to see, twenty years have passed since 1993, and Boyzone didn’t forget it neither. They will start a new tour in this year with the name Boyzone 20th Anniversary Tour 2013 in the whole island country. The tour’s first date is the birthplace, the capital of Ireland, Dublin.
The concert will be on 28 November 2013 in the O2 stadium in Dublin. This arena is one of the most important stadiums in Ireland. It’s pretty young, because it opened in 2008. Its capacity is almost 15,000 people.
Probably we can expect to an enormous party, so don’t think about is too long, buy your ticket now! It could be a wonderful autumn program for the pop music lovers. Have a great time!
