Christmas and New Year’s are almost here and as in every year Dublin will offer the best programs over the festive period of the year. In Dublin there will be plenty of activities and programs during this time. 
The festive period will start with the Christmas Market from the middle of November and ends with the best activities for New Year’s Eve. There will be live concerts in the city such as the Countdown Concert which is one of the best party to welcome and start the new year. The concert starts at 8pm at College Green, it is a over 18s event.
The Procession of Light is a family friendly, free and fun event where you will light up the city’s street and walk through the most beautiful and historic spots of Dublin. Everyone is invited to join the event and it is free for everyone. The theme of the event in this year is: “Light is on, come on in!”. It will start at 6.30 in the evening. There will be even family workshops from 29th until 31st December where you can make your own lantern note that the capacity is limited so you have to sign up for it first.
