The album got five Grammy Awards in 2004. In addition to her musician career, she played in several movies, like Pink Panther and the movie adaption of Dreamgirls.
She founded her own fashion brand, the House of Deréon. Besides these, she was the commercial face of the Pepsi, the Tommy Hilfiger and the L’Oréal.
