A new star will arrive to Dublin in 2013 with the name Peter Gene Hernandez. We probably all know him better by his artist name Bruno Mars. Mars was two years old when he got the “Bruno” nickname, which came from his father, who gave this name to his son after a chubby wrestler, Bruno Sammartino.
Bruno grew up in Honolulu in a musician family, and after that he moved to Los Angeles when he was 17. Before he became famous as a singer, he participated in several big hit as a producer or song writer. He released his first album in October 2010, the Doo-Wops & Hooligans, which reached first place inter alia in Great Britain, Germany, Netherlands and Switzerland, and it was on the third place in the United States. From this album the Just The Way You Are and the Grenade EPs topped the Billboard Hot 100 list. He was dominated in 7 categories at the Grammy Gala of 2011, and he won one, exactly in the category of the best pop singer. He released his second album in December 2012, the Unorthodox Jukebox, which topped the American sales list for six weeks.
The young singer now wants to show his newest work to his fans in live too. The worldwide tour’s one station is no other, but the capital of the green Ireland, Dublin.
