The Aviva Stadium is a super modern venue for all kinds of events in the center of Dublin, an UEFA Category 4 stadium. It has a capacity on more than 50,000 spectators seated (for football and rugby matches) and for around 65,000 people for concert events and other similar programs. The venue was built on the location of the former Landsdowne Road Stadium and it was finished in 2010 and the official opening was May 14th, 2010.
To get to the Aviva Stadium with public transportation you can travel with bus 4,5,7,8,18,45 or 63 to Pembroke Road and walk 350 metres from there to the stadium.
The Aviva Stadium is first of all a rugby stadium, but it is also used by the Irish National Football team for their matches, for American Football and of course for cool concerts.
